Kate Spade Year of Color

Each month in 2011 Kate Spade will be collaborating with different artists and designers to create short films based on a color. We were given Pink for the month of February of course. We “blacked” out the windows at studio and got to work with frequent collaborator Ian McAlpin on this stop motion piece.

Sit and Read for UNIS

In advance of the new site and branding we have been working on, we shot, in collaboration with Ian McAlpin, a process video of Kyle Garner, from Sit and Read, reupholstering a Jens Risom Lounge Chair using fabric directly from the UNIS Fall 2010 line. Also, Garrett wrote and recorded the tune.

Today we bid adieu to our Summer intern, Chris Nosenzo. It was a big summer for him, he turned twenty-one and we were sure to document him drinking his first Budweiser, Schlitz and PBR.

Susan & Rob’s Wedding

In the spring, we collaborated with Rob Giampetro on his wedding invites. He and his wife wanted to use the phrase “Tying the Knot” coupled with the vernacular of a New England fishing town. From that we developed a rope monogram (which actually ties a knot) and the some brush type. Rob and Susan also put the monogram on a tote as a parting gift for their guests.
